Post during wildfires in California in 2019

Social media strategies have been used during wildfires. Twitter's hashtags can help us look for the information about breaking news quickly. Like the post above, it contained the hashtags like #Breaking #HAPPNOW, which easily caught people's attention. Even though there are not many people retweet it or like it, more than 3K people have watched the video and understood how wildfire was burning that time.

As you can see, social media strategies utilization has been promoted. In 2017, less people paid attention to the news sent by social media accounts. However, more people started to notice the information delivered through Twitter. In 2019, the social media methods are able to send out message more effectively.

Except personal accounts, official accounts also posted about wildfires in time. Compared to personal accounts, official accounts obviously have more followers and credibility. Using a cover with "BREAKING NEWS" leads more people to look at the latest news. The effect of information dissemination can be better.
